The foundations for Winchester Charolais were put in place long before we started our stud.

Our families have been breeding high quality stock be it sheep, beef, stock horses or good working dogs for over three generations and luckily for us we have been fortunate enough to learn from them so that we can confidently offer stock to our clients that will perform for them in all environments.

The individual females in our herd come from “time proven” cow families, cow families that have helped the breed enormously to be where it is today. These females easily meet the selection criteria’s that are important to us, milking ability, fertility, ease of calving, sound structure, adequate weight for age, great temperament and above average softness.
